Book review: The immortals of meluha

Name: The immortals of Meluha.
Writer : Amish
Genre: Fiction
published in : 2010

Plot:
It is the first book of the Shiva trilogy
1. The immortals of Meluha
2. The secret of the Nagas
3. The oath of the vayuputras
It is the story of an ordinary Tibetan man whom the legend turned into a God -The Neelkanth.
The story revolves in The Indus valley civilization around 1900BC. The inhabitants called this the - land of Meluha, created by Lord Ram.
The two empires of Suryavanshi ( descendants of the Sun)
and the Chandravanshi ( descendants of the Moon)  are constantly at each other's necks. The Chandravanshis are aided by the Nagas. In the midst of such circumstances Shiva finds himself falling for Sati, thus the beginning of an Epic Love story.

What I liked about this book?
I like the plot development. The writer basically keeps us all so involved that it's difficult to stop reading. Also, imagining the story is quite easy, so we hardly forget the previous chapters.
The unveiling of the simple truths of life for shiva to understand, is quite a thing here , portrayed in differently intriguing ways.

Word by me :
I totally would recommend this book for the age group 17 and above.
It's an amazing book. Also it has many good virtues to give. Totally a good time investment.
It's a must read.
